UPDATE 16 Mar 2013

A little status update of all this stuff:
- The FFA server got moved, and I preserved his IP address which is wonderful.
- Uptown, as expected is a piece of trash for bots.
- Time per map was increased at Germany because that server receives more traffic than the LA ones.
- Talking about Germany, after a couple of months, there is no price increase on their services, let's see...
- The Dressing Room server, forum and other stuff got moved to better hardware.

And the pending stuff again:

- Try some 3rd party maps.
- Update b3 in a couple of servers (and try the new 1.9 version, which suppossedly fixes some stuff that according to them is buggy, lol).
- The bomb server, probably a sniper/survivor server.
- And surprise, I want to run a server for haxxors :D I mean, a place where everybody can do whatever they want :P

Really?

This would only encourage hackers and jackasses.  And from what I've seen, we already have a surplus of both.

ipwns must be trollithing atm....
if not......well...then you deserve a high five! in the face! with a chair!
no but honestly i agree with rex here, a server for haxxors with the name tlws will just make players think that they can cheat on all tlws servers, creating a bad gaming environment for others ect ect
one does not simply, uninstall norton 360 pro

I was thinking seriously about it...

And also, I have been thinking in the consequences, like what you said... But at the same time, is a possibility to move them there. Is like creating a paradise for them xD

Anyway, is just an idea lol

I agree with leaf. What happens when the hackers get tired of losing against other hackers and move onto the other TLWS servers? There'll be a large increase in aimbots and wh that we'll just be banning players 24/7. On the up side, an sr8 team survivor would be very enjoyable seeing as there are many good snipers currently on the servers. These servers bring a whole different type of player to the server and hopefully these players will enjoy the server so much that they'll also play on the other servers.

(except admins ofc  ::) )

Hi iPWNn00bs ,

please dont make a paradise for hackers. They do not deserve it.
In last consequence I must think about my admin status.

Please understand I will never accept hackers.

I would even go a step further; I don't think that it even would get a "cheaters paradise", 'cause cheaters mostly want to own, and to achieve that I would rather go to a "normal" server and bash "normal" players then to go to a place where there are quite sure players equally good as them

There could be a aimbot competition where programmers see whose scripting is the best  :P

Ok, is a no.

Guys, don't make a drama of this. I hate cheaters too, and that's mainly why admins and this forum exists. Is part of this life.

Hi,

It could be interesting.... like this we could make an automatic save of all their ip... ( MOUHAHAHAHAhahah )

But, unfortunately, i think nobody comes on it.

Real player, because they don't want to play against fucking cheater AND cheater because they can't fuck the game of real player.

Too bad (Mmmmmm ..... mega permban)

Anyone willing to help me out on a simple Siggy project of mine?

So it will be a trap for cheaters, not a bad idea now.

Wasn't that the initial Idea? Get their IPs from the Honeypot and sync it with the banlist?  ;)
