Guide to b3 commands on TLWS servers
« on: March 09, 2011, 11:56:56 pm »
B3 Command Usage

When someone first connects to the server, they are level 0 and have access to only commands such a !fp or !forgiveplayer but that is not effective on our servers because we have team damage off. They can basically only use !register which makes them level 2.

At level 2
they can now use !xlrstats which gives them the amount of kills, deaths, and their ratio of kills to deaths.

At level 20
you are a moderator, we don't have any of these, it's either admin or user so I won't talk about this.

At level 40
you are a regular admin, but still we don't have any of these.

Our Level 60 Admins

Here's your commands admins.

First what to do when a cheater is online and you're spectating them

- You may want to use !bitchslap to slap them to death just to humiliate them a bit or use !mslap. Here's how:
-First !bitchslap
-For all examples the players name will be Jones101.
-Bitchslap slaps the player until they die. This is done by typing in this !bitchslap Jones101
-If you want to slap someone a certain amount of times you do this:
-!mslap Jones101 (number of times here)
-example: !mslap Jones101 5
-Then after you've humiliated them you should do this.
-!permban Jones101 aimbot
-you put the reason after the name seperated by a space.

Okay now let's say the person who was aimbotting was reported in a demo here on the site, you then viewed the demo and log on to that server in particular but they won't be online. so you do this:

-!lookup Jones101
-Then you'll get a few replies, look at the date, look for the one around the time of the demo, if there's lots around 1 time, that means they probably copied a players name, tell iPwn if you are ever unsure.
-after you do !lookup Jones101 you get stuff back like player id's.
-You want to ban the correct one by doing this.
-say jones101's player id is @14940
-we would do !permban @14940 aimbot
-and he would be permbannned, you get a message if you did properly saying he's been banned.

Ok now let's say we have someone who's being an ass or spamming.

-you usually want to warn them like this:
-!w Jones101 Spamming
-and you can do that twice, but on the third !w Jones101 he will get an auto 6 minute ban.
-if you dont want to warn because hes being a super rude person do this:
-!k Jones101 Being excessively annoying
-and that will kick him
-!spank Jones101 Being excessively annoying
-that does the same thing as !k or !kick but some people like the word spank more. ^___^

Okay now lets say they're a repeated spammer then you do this:
-!tempban Jones101 1w Repeated spamming over and over
-That would temporarily ban Jones101 for 1 week for repeated spamming
-If you want 30 minutes you replace 1w with 30m, or replace with 1h for 1 hour, etc.
-Sometimes if a player is annoying you, you may want them to be annoyed.
-You can do this by doing:
-!nuke Jones101 1
-this will have a hk69 sent flying from the sky at him and it may kill him if hes not moving around, you can nuke from 1 to 25 times. but it wont let you do more than 25.

Dont do this unless people are requesting it.
-!moon on
-that turns on low gravity mode and lets people fly around :D
-!moon off
-do that IF ANYONE complains or when you leave ALWAYS do !moon off ALWAYS.

How to Register Someone
-!makereg Jones101
-this is the same as having them do !register themselves but you can do it for them :D

Balancing Teams
-As an admin, you have the ability to balance teams do this by one of the following ways
-!teams sends the latest person to join the team with more players to the other team
-!force Jones101 red/blue/spec to force a player to the other team.

Map Changing
-Say you wanted to skip the map that is currently being played and go to the next one(don't do this on algiers unlimited or Dressing Room unlimited)
-This is done with this command:
-!cyclemap
-To set next map do this:
-!setnextmap ut4_casa (btw ipwn please add this map to urt knights, it's my favorite map :D)

Other Commands
-!mute Jones101 is broken right now, if iPWN ever fixes I will edit this
-!bigtext Hi Lol (this would put Hi Lol in big text on the middle of the screen for every player)
-!scream HELLO (says a message from console 6 times in different colors to main chat)
-!say Hello (this is used when an admin is spectating, because only other spectators can see your chat, with  this everyone can see)
-!list (lists all players currently on the server)
-!alias Jones101 (tells you other names that player has played under, for me examples are UnknownAX, NotFoxyDaddy, etc.)
-!admintest (tells you what level admin you are)
-!regtest (tells you if you're registered, this is for non-admins)
-!spree (tells you how many kills/deaths you have in a row, example: You have 4 kills in a row)
-!id Jones101 (gives you ip and player id)

Other Info

I won't discuss anything over level 60 because none of you are over level 60 and neither am I so I don't really know about it, if I ever get promoted and need to learn about it I will post it here for if anyone else gets promoted. :P Have fun and follow the rules :D

Editing Server Weapons
-The !gear command is used to edit the weapons available.
-There are a few rules you must follow below
-Don't touch the weapons on algiers
-If you mess with Dressingroom then when you leave you have to make sure when you leave nades are disabled with everything else turned on
-Whenever you leave anything but dressingroom EVERYTHING must be turned on
-Ok here's how you use it
-!gear none turns off all weapons and is knife only
-From that point you can add what you want example you want sniper and spas shotgun
-!gear +sniper
-!gear +spas
-You would enter those two commands and now you have sniper + spas + knife server.

REQUESTS FOR iPWN TO EDIT SERVERS

-Make it so when we use !shuffleteams the server doesn't crash and everyone have to reconnect
-Make it so the !mslap command is just !slap
-Add the !knchallenge command so the admins can set a challenge for players to try to knife someone
-Add Casa map to netherlands and UrT Knights seattle.
-Add the !fk <playername> command so admins can kill people instantly for being an ass. (lol) :D(also about this, it might not be that actual name !fk but I saw this on the zombie server, and now realize it could have been a mod they made, but I still want it lol) xd
-Add the !clear command to clear all of a players warnings and teamkilling points in case we ever turn on team damage
-Add custom funstuff so for all TLWS servers

Can you format it to merge it in some way?

Thank you

Some comments:

!mute and !warnremove work for me.

For weapons selection use !gear

For example, lets say you want knives only you go:
!gear none

Knives and pistols:
!gear none (to clear firearms)
!gear +pistols (to enable pistols)

when you execute this command you will get a message with the various weapon groups indicating their status (1 for on, 0 for off)
Autos:1 Neguev:1 Pistols:1 Sniper:1 SPAS:1 Nades:1

Not sure what the weapons rules are for Algiers are, but dressing room is NO GRENADES.

Every now and then if the players are into it, I will enable knives only or (my personal favorite) pistols & nades.

Just remember to leave it the way it was when you are done playing or when the players start to complain.

Also ipwn you should make it so the admins as spectators can see + hear both teams radio's in case someone is spamming them.

Afaik It cannot be done...

Followstrict is disabled, and you can follow any team member. switching between blu and red players can let you hear the radio in both teams.

1. Yes, As Far As I Know.
1. I have no time to code in UrT. I did just two tweaks to let 38 players in algiers. And is written in C.

Quick question about B3 commands.

I want to look up the aliases of a player not currently connected to the server.

If they were connected, I could easily do this with the alias(es) command.

What I need to be able to do is look up the guid/IP/some identifier for a non-connected player, then search the database on that identifier spitting out names.

Yes, the usage is

!lookup playernickname

Then if that throw you and id, lets say id 12345, you do

!aliases @12345

Note the '@' symbol.

But, is a general question? Or I assigned you as admin xD (sorry I don't rmemeber to do it)

btw, I must merge this to the FAQ

Ok, about the Foxy suggestions... hmm

About the slap/mslap, is done.
About !clear, there is a command to do it, !warnclear or !wc I enabled it now.
About the casa map, It crashes, also there is a turnpike server in San Jose, it will crash too.

About !knchallenge, I don't understand the purpose of it, but I am looking at the corresponding plugin. Also remember  that adding more plugins will slow down more b3. (I guess)
About the !fk command, maybe is a public b3 plugin, someone needs to take a look.
About shuffle, wtf, the server crashes? I can't do nothing about that.
About the custom funstuff, someone knows a good tutorial? then I can try it.

Honestly, thanks but no thanks.

I like playing on servers where I don't have the badge.  It's nice to have places to go and just worry about the murder.

I catch the random cheater on TLWS servers, but usually there is another admin on or I can post the demo to the forums.  If I thought that there was an apparent lack of policing on the server I would gladly take you up on the offer.  The Algiers server (where I play most) is policed very well during the times I play and the forum response here is fantastic.
